Everybody quotes you a price. Almost nobody quotes you the whole price.
Residency fees are paid to the Mexican government and the consulate, not to us. For one adult on temporary residency that is a $56 consular fee abroad plus an 11,141 peso card fee here, roughly $675 to $700 all in. Permanent runs a little higher. Every other operator leaves these out of the quote and lets you discover them at the counter. We put them inside the price, because a number you find out later is not a price, it is a surprise.
| What you need | Bought separately | With us |
|---|---|---|
| Residency filing and consulate fees | Left out of the quote | Inside the price |
| Immigration attorney or facilitator | Separate invoice | Inside the price |
| Housing search and lease negotiation | Separate invoice | Inside the price |
| Arrival setup, bank, phone, utilities | Separate invoice | Inside the price |
| Coordinating all of it | Three companies, three invoices | One price, one invoice |
| Who manages the timeline | You do | We do |
What is in the price
- Residency, from the consulate appointment through your INM card, and every government fee along the way
- Your scouting stay while you look
- Home search, viewings, and lease negotiation in Spanish
- Arrival setup: bank account, phone line, CFE, internet, water
- Introductions to your first three people, by name, before you land
- The Trusted Vendor List, included
- Sixty days of direct support after you land
What is not, and why
- Your flights. $300 to $800 direct from several US cities. You will find them cheaper than we can.
- Most of your meals. This one is deliberate. We are not going to hide what dinner actually costs here.
- Your rent and the guarantor fee. Rents run 10,000 to 30,000 pesos a month, and three times the rent is due at signing as a guarantor fee. On a 15,000 peso place that is 45,000 pesos before you get keys. It is paid to your landlord, never through us, and we will tell you the number before you fall in love with a house.
- Shipping and pet transport. Quoted separately because they vary more than anything else on this list.
Answered before you ask.
Why does this cost more than the person offering it on Facebook?
Because the fees are inside our number and outside theirs, and because we live here. Add the government fees to their quote and compare again. If theirs is still lower, take it, and we mean that.
Do I have to use your attorney?
No. If you already have one, we work with them and the price adjusts.
What happens on day 61?
You are in the community, you have the vendor list, and you have our WhatsApp. Support does not end, the schedule does. Ongoing help is available and priced, and we will tell you what it costs before day 60 rather than after.
Can you do this for a family?
Yes. Dependents add government fees and add school and pediatrician search to the work, so a household is quoted rather than listed. Book the fit call and you will have a number the same week.
Not sure which one you need?
Fifteen minutes with someone who lives here. Free, and we will tell you honestly if the answer is none of them.
Which one do I need?
Free, 15 minutes. We work out which of the three fits you, or tell you honestly that none of them do. Not a residency consultation.
