You already know why you’re considering this.
You’ve been watching, processing, having quiet conversations with yourself, and maybe a few trusted people, about what a different kind of life could look like.
You’re not running from anything
You’re moving toward something
And you have real questions. Practical ones. About visas. About neighborhoods. About safety. About what it actually costs and how it actually works.
On May 16th, The Black Mérida Experience is hosting a free, live workshop to answer all of it, plainly, specifically, and honestly.
What WE’LL cover
This isn’t a teaser. It’s a real working session
The Pathway
How the move actually works, the visa process, the legal residency timeline, and what to expect at each stage. No glossing over the hard parts.
The Numbers
What it actually costs to live well in Mérida. Healthcare, housing, food, schooling. What your dollars do here that they can’t do back home.
The Community
Landing in a community of 200+ Black Americans already living here. Not a Facebook group, a life. Tuesday mornings, Saturday nights, the people you’ll know.
The Safety Question
We’ll address it directly. The data, the reality on the ground, and what it’s like to live in a city where you do not have to brace for the next violation of your dignity.
Your Questions, Live
The last third of this workshop is yours. Bring what’s sitting in your chest. We’ll answer in real time, plainly, specifically, and honestly.
Who is this for
You’re seriously considering relocating, not “someday,” but within the next 6 to 24 months.
You have real questions that search results haven’t answered.
You’ve looked at other countries, other programs, options, and something keeps bringing you back to Mérida.
You want straight answers from people who actually live here.
* This is not for people who want to be sold to. This is a conversation. Come ready to ask.
Who’s Leading This
Kayla Dailey
Kayla, Director of Sales at TBME Relocation Concierge, is a U.S.-to-Mexico relocation expert living in Mérida. After helping scale a European relocation company from its first sales hire, she now uses firsthand experience to guide clients through visas, housing, and a seamless transition into life within the Black Mérida community.
TBME Concierge is a concierge relocation service built by and for Black Americans. We live in the community we’re inviting you into.
We built this workshop because the questions deserve real answers, not a sales funnel.
The thing nobody tells
you about is the people.
Save your seat.
Come ready with the questions you’ve been carrying. We’ll answer them clearly and honestly.
