Self-Care Sundays: March 30th Recap

On a hot and sunny Mérida morning—95°F and glowing with energy—we came together at the beautiful Dream Event Center in Itzimná for a more intimate and heartfelt edition of Self-Care Sundays.

This time, we were honored to be joined by a local Mexican yoga instructor, known for leading community sessions every Thursday at La Plancha. She brought her grace and strength to our space, guiding attendees through a rejuvenating flow that connected breath, body, and spirit.

Adding a layer of deep relaxation, Ciara Love gifted us a soul-soothing sound bowl experience, allowing everyone to sink into the stillness and recharge from the inside out.

The vibe stayed high as DJ Frequency seamlessly shifted the energy from peaceful stretches to a joyful dance session, blending beats that carried us from calm to celebration.

Under the shade of trees and umbrellas, guests cooled down with fresh juices, cold drinks, popsicles, and mimosas, all lovingly served by Miguel at the bar. The brunch menu featured comforting and delicious enchiladas, chilaquiles, and fresh mixed fruit—the perfect fuel for a morning of movement and connection.

With a smaller crowd, the energy felt deeply personal. Conversations flowed easily, new friendships formed, and the sense of community was palpable.

💛 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared space with us. Self-care is more than a moment—it’s a movement. And we’re building it together, one Sunday at a time.
