Connecting TBME members with local organizations in Yucatan
Los Maya Eternos Children’s Event
- Event Date: December 20th
- Participants: 3,000 children from surrounding communities
- Volunteer Roles: Crowd management, inflatable supervision, transportation
- Planning Meeting: Monday, December 16th (time TBD)
- Commitment: Full event day required
VOLUNTEER ROLES NEEDED
Child Line Control (Purple Line)
Maintain order and help manage crowd flow.
Inflatable Supervision (Green Zone)
Watch the children on the inflatables at all times.
Child Transport
Drivers with cars to help pick up around 3,000 children. Mothers will ride with their own children.
IMPORTANT RULES
• If anyone asks for money or help, say: “We have to ask Pedro.”
• No giving out clothes or shoes on the event day.
• Do NOT open cars with donations. It breaks crowd control.
• Volunteers must be teens or adults (no small children).
DONATIONS

• Baby clothes and accessories
• Toys
• Blankets
APPLE CONTRIBUTIONS
We are providing 1,500 apples for the children.
Cost:
• 1 box (120 apples) = 700 pesos
• We need 13 boxes total
• Total cost: 9,100 pesos

PLANNING MEETING
We will meet with Los Maya Eternos on Monday (afternoon or evening) to:
• Review expectations
• Visit the event site
• Visit the towns where children will be picked up
